You will start your tour with a visit to the Halong Market, where you can see the fresh and colorful ingredients that make up the dishes of the bay. You will also have a chance to try some of the local specialties, such as cha muc (fried squid cakes), banh da cua (crab noodle soup), and che dau xanh (mung bean dessert).

12.30 - 14.00

Next, you will explore the city’s streets and alleys. You will stop at various food venders and sample their offerings, such as banh mi (Vietnamese sandwich), nem chua (fermented pork roll), and banh tom (shrimp fritter).

After that, you will enjoy a lunch at a local restaurant, where you can savor some of the more elaborate dishes of Halong, such as ga quay (roasted chicken), ca nau ngot (sweet and sour fish soup), and com chay (crispy rice).

14.30 - 15.00

Finally, you will end your tour with a visit to the Long Tien Pagoda, the oldest and largest pagoda in Halong. You will learn about the history and culture of Buddhism in Vietnam, and admire the beautiful architecture and sculptures of the pagoda.
